Re: UT Cruisers Official Decal thread

I like the delicate arch one the UHP give me a bit of a bile taste in my mouth but that could just be me. I would love to get more involved here in UT I have a hecktic work schedule but would make some trail rides.

Although I lack the skills to do this myself, here's my concept idea: Take the logo and change the letters to UT CRUISERS using the same font style:

I like both the other ideas as well. I just wanted to throw another idea in the mix.
I'll work on this for you.

I would bet that our little gang here in Utah will all buy one or two of these. I certainly will. It can be like our secret handshake

Don't you know? Secret combinations are a no no in Utah... I would definitely be down to rock one of these on the FJ. So how come we don't have an official Utah FJ's club? I used to belong to utahscions.com and we used to get together all of the time. Dealerships would always have events for us and give us SWAG and free food. I would be willing to set up a meet for us. I will talk to my buddy down at Brent Brown Toyota and see what he can do. I know he is having a Scion event on the 2nd of Feb. and they are paying some hawaiian barbecue place to cater the event. They're also giving away $500 in prizes and having a Rockband competition on the PS3. What do you guys think about getting together?

Re: UT Cruisers Official Decal thread

I would be all for an informal "Club". I'm always looking for someone to go 4 wheeling with. I have a cousin with an H3 (he has had it for a year now) but refuses to go offroad (????). I don't like going out alone due to the unforseen esp. in the winter. Though I'm not a fan of stickers on vehicles (unless there is money involved they are just free ad space) something like this would be acceptable.

Re: UT Cruisers Official Decal thread

Hi guys, we do have 10 or 15 of us that meet up for runs. I guess we should get a thread going to pick out a name. The plan is to make it slightly more organized that it has been for a couple of seasons. I would guess we've done over a dozen meets, 4 of which have been in Moab. We have one in spring that you guys would really like. The link is on the top of my sig line. I am sorting out a list of neat locations and ghost towns around Utah, lot's of them in the Uinta's so very close and easy for day trips. So, bottom line is that starting in Spring we will ramp up again. If any of you guys have ideas for the club, or runs, please feel free to post up or pm me. I am an organizor but am sure not tied to being the grand poobaa so I'll go start a thread right now and see what the gang thinks about organizing more formally.

Scott

This sounds great! I think the more informal the better. Once you start getting into membership dues and stuff like that, people tend to get turned off. It should definitely be kept open to whomever, family friendly, and laid back. Another thing with decals, t-shirts, beanies, or anything with a club logo, is that someone has to come up with the idea, front the money, and then expect everyone that wants one to pay for it. So, like I said, the more informal, the better. I still want a decal though! Ha ha!

I plan on going out to 5 Mile Pass on Saturday morning if I don't go on the Pony Express Run with utah4x4club. You are more than welcome to join my fiance and I. I hate going out by myself too.
