Not to hijack the thread, but Rose Canyon is really nice!
My work takes me up there from time to time...
We've also been looking at a place on the Ranches course at Eagle Mt. and one next to you in Saratoga. So many nice new places we can't quite decide. It's a great time to be buying.
OK, the Spring Fling was a definite success! I will be checking out a mine in southern Utah this weekend. After that we should see if maybe we can get a group of us together for a run at Rattlesnake and Constricter out at 5 mile pass on the 3rd or 4th. It will be a month or more before the high Uinta roads are open but we can have fun in the meantime
Gericurl76, any word on our emblems. I'm making similar, fast paced progress on our website
My wife recently launched Red Rock Reviews - Home. If we want, we could set up a private section of that site for our local club info. Just throwing out ideas.
P.S. She is also looking for writers/editors for outdoor activities.
I just took a look, that's going to be a fun site. I'm sure the group will be able to contribute it you will have us. I have the UtahCruisers.com and FJ-CruiserClub.com at Godaddy already. Did you do your wife's site, if so do you want to be drafted ? I just haven't found the time yet, I'm feeling pretty bad about it.
My wife is the website genius. She is amazing and has done numerous sites over the years. We batted around the idea of this site on Sunday. She had it live Sunday night!
Right now we are just starting to get content and we definitely want some enthusiasts to write for it. It would be great to have people from the group. Anyone that is interested should drop her a line through the site or PM me.
I think it has a lot of potential! Let's talk about the local site.

1. Dim your headlights for approaching vehicles, even if the gun is loaded, and the deer is in sight.
2. When approaching a four-way stop, the vehicle with the largest tires always has the right of way.
3. Never tow another car using panty hose and duct tape.
4. When sending your wife down the road with a gas can, it is impolite to ask her to bring back beer.
As I am very busy putting in my yard, I am missing all the trail runs. (I don't EVEN want to hear how cool the spring fling was, I'm still just sick about it.)
In leu of meeting all of you, I have been working hard on the emblems as some sort of penance for being absent. I'm still just running with the arch idea. I got samples from a 3rd vendor on Thursday, but he was supposed to call me back to talk $, but never did. I've got a 4th mfg. to contact on Mon. they are on the east coast and I got their number after they had gone home. I'm 100% positive that I can get a fairly inexpensive emblem that will be pretty cool. I just haven't found a source that will give me exactly what I want in a quantity that I can afford. (I hope it exists).
On the lighter side I was surfing through expedition 1's website and saw providence canyon as one of their mentioned favorite trails, so I got excited to go up there again. So I decided to see how much snow was still up there with my little girl last Sun. We didn't get more than 15 min up the canyon, and the stock racing slicks were starting to worry me. I decided since I forgot a shovel or jack or any sort of recovery equipt. whatsoever, and I didn't wan't to hike out carrying a 1-year-old. I thought I'd better turn back. It was fun though. Can't wait for some more snow to melt.
Does someone have an email/phone#/real name list. And if so maybe we could all be contacted to see if we wouldn't mind being included in a club directory. (maybe it could be password protected on the website so we could keep it more current than a printed version or an old email list.
