This is great! We need more! More, more, more! It would be rad to see 10 FJ's show up. It might even the odds against the Heeps. Last time out, I was the only FJ and there were about 10 Heeps.

I will see if I can get out of working on Saturday and meet up with everyone. That is as long as Provo Canyon isn't closed for avalanche control.

Re: Utah FJ'ers... Come Out and Represent!

We were the couple that bowed out. We weren't going on the run anyways, we just came to chit chat with fellow FJer's so when we saw that we were 1 of 2 FJ's in the club we just didn't feel to comfortable so we kinda bailed. Sorry for being flaky guys, it just wasn't our scene.

How was it? I re-painted my kitchen all day which was probably way funner than running a trail (don't ruin my little fantasy, it keeps me going).

Re: Utah FJ'ers... Come Out and Represent!

It was pretty fun. Mr Tibbs, did you mean you made it to IHOP, or just decided to bow out with the low participation here? We ended up doing Little Moab, South West of Utah lake. The snow on the rocks added difficulty and unpredictability to the run.

Little moab is a small area with some rock obstacles. You just run around in circles and do whatever you feel comfortable with.

The beat up Chevy Blazer showed us all up on the most difficult climb. No one had made it up this line until the little Blazer that could, did...

You can see my rig and MidgetFJ in the background. I forgot my camera, otherwise I would have gotten a shot of MidgetFJs sleek yellow rig. This photo compliments of someone who did bring a camera...

None of the Jeeps got up this either except for one TJHunter who disconnected his swaybar after several attempts getting real close- he finally did it. I just loved how the Blazer got up though. There is no substitute for length when it puts your back end farther down the hill.
