OK, the porcupine opens at 9:30 and we shouldn't need to call with so few of us. I get's crowded but not so much on a Sunday but I'll call ahead today to make sure. Since they open at 9:30 should we make it then to meet? Here's a link for everyone if you need directions or an address.
This is my first post and I'm a complete newbie....to pretty much about everything.
Just picked up my FJ on Wednsday so started looking for some forums. Its a used silver 2007, with a few extras including after market wheels, tires, and an old man emu lift kit...or at least thats what the dealer told me.
I'm originally from CA but been living out here for about 3 years. As I said, I'm a complete newbie to off-roading and so far have only driven over some huge piles of snow on my street. I live in Sandy and would love to come out and meet the crowd.

Re: Utah Cruisers Feb. 24 mini gathering
9:30 am it is...if the weather is crappy I might be a little late.
This should be a good little gathering...and to those that are heading to the Spring Fling bring some ideas that you might have in mind while down there.

Please do come join us, we would love to have you! Seriously, the more the merrier! It would be great to meet everyone of you, please be there!
Only on condition that I won't get terribly mocked for buying an automatic instead of a manual tranny...
Automatic= point and shoot! Gotta be extra talented to drive a stick in Moab. That's why I have an auto
Welcome! And do join us!
Kathie

Don't put a 3 hour round trip for breakfast past me. You never know. My friend and I have been known to leave Ogden at 9:00 P.M. drive to Moab and hike delicate arch during the full moon. Then jump back in the car and be home for breakfast. (those were the days when sleep didn't matter so much)
Let me know where and I will do my best to sneak past my wife. The offer I put in on my new house was accepted this morning so within 3 weeks I will have all my stuff moved to Wellsville (I'm about 15 min closer now). My mission this weekend is to get a fridge at R.C. Wiley's tomorrow before their sale ends and some couches at Costco in Ogden, this only complicates the Sun A.M. Breakfast trip because I will be gone all day tomorrow and my wife will want to see me when she wakes up on SUN. (She works nights as a Labor and Delivery nurse). So if I can sneak down and back before she wakes up I'm golden. But if I get home and she is asking where have I been then I have to tell her and she'll make fun of my FJ nerdiness.
(p.s. the woman spent an half hour yesterday at the carwash working on the FJ as a surprise for me. She's a keeper).
I'm with you guys on the exclusivity thing. (is the AZ page private?) I wonder if we set up our own deal if the mods would just add a thread that is a link to our site.
P.S. I read all the posts but didn't catch a final breakfast location. If we work it out someone P.M. me.
