Colorado FJ's: Let's hit a trail in April

I'm not sure which trails have a high probability of being open in April, but I think it would be great to get together for a fun and SCENIC trail?

Looking at the FJ Calendar, looks like 19/20 or 26/27 April would be best (Our last ski trip is on the 13th).

Anyone prefer one date or another? We should nail down the date ASAP, then we can find a place as it gets closer.

Any suggestions on a trail?

Let's do it!

Updated Details:
Meeting @ 9:00am at the McD's in Woodland Park, then heading to Metberry Gulch. Or meet at the trailhead at about 10:15.

we're in! I would suggest Red Elephant but I don't think the snow would be melted by then. I can go look up my Colorado Trails book and see what there is... but let's not forget to put it on our handy sticky... Official Colorado Area Trail Run Announcement Thread

Those dates look good to us. Tony will be able to try out his new tires and lift.

Okie, since everyone's open - maybe we should shoot for the 26th/27th. Anyone prefer sat vs sun? I'm ready to put in on the calendar

Re: Colorado FJ's: Let's hit a trail in April

once we have chosen... if it's in this book I can scan the description... it's very detailed...to detailed if you ask me...it tells you about every obstacle by 10ths of a mile... so I end up having to read the whole time instead of just rollin
