Well I hung out for a bit with James from EXP1. The GERI looks great and can't wait for a rear bumper. I was also able to meet Kathie, and I noticed that Just4Fun parked next to me....

Well, now that that's out do you want to meet up Sunday there? That is when me and smigette will be going. There are less people, and sometimes the vendors do deals on Sunday to get rid of product they don't want to pack up and take home.

Re: Off-Road Expo - End of April

Just got back, while there was some interesting stuff there all together I wasnt very impressed. I guess comming from Chicago Im just used to bigger and better. The rock crawling demo was interesting, the guy driving the rock buggy high centered himself and had to be pushed off by the jeep (amusing)

I'd have to agree, There was hardly anything that was really worth taking a second look, I did love the Black and Red Tundra's that were there. Other than that and EXP1, it kind of sucked....

Re: Off-Road Expo - End of April

Me and smigette just got back as well, we agree. We talked to James as EXP1 for about a half an hour, but besides that we felt is was pretty disappointing. The only other thing that caught my eye was the Japanese mini trucks. I would buy one of them over a Rhino or Mule any day!! Besides that it just seemed like a lot of 4 wheelers and buggys.
