Could do, and stagecoachco lives outside of Steamboat.
The jeep trail ends at the campsite(s), so there would have to be a group of that would want to go back down the trail at the end of the day. When I did this run last year, my wife and I had to leave and got an escort back out to the non-sticky part of the trail, but it required 2 other rigs to escort us and took them about 1.5 hours to escort us, then get back to camp. IMO, I'd be happy to escort folks out since I would get to run the sticky part of the trail 3x! Might also depend on how long it takes to get up the trail...

Ok, I finally checked my PM's. I figure I will just post here rather than PM ya Rocky Mtn.
As Eric said their is good camping near the end of the trail. Where we camped last year was far enough from Hog Park that we had the place to ourselves. If folks want to go back to Steamboat after dinner, you actually don't have to go back on the trail. You can just go the normal route back to Steamboat on gravel roads (I don't remember the numbers, but it is in the Wells Book).
As far as the date goes, it SHOULD be snow free by then. There is a chance that it might still be impassable though. Keep in mind that last year we didn't get all that much snow up here (by Steamboat Stds). This year we are setting a record for snow fall. The North Routt area tends to get even more snow than the ski area due to the local topography. I dirt biked in this area a few years ago right about that time (Late June, and we had to ride over (through) the snow in a few on the north facing parts of the trail. I can go up there as the time gets nearer and give a report of trail conditions.
Hopefully my truck will be put back together by then and I can join up for the fun. I will even bring my full size Bar-B-Que like last year!!
