sdlsatcom, over on COTTORA they were talking about hitting this the weekend after, April 5th, they posted this on their thread.

It doesn't matter I still want to go, just thought I'd share it. I thought I'd give them a report of our run and/or we may have a couple of them join us so they can get a feel for the conditions. Who knows, I may even get two weekends out there.

it is a pretty easy trail with no snow, so with snow it should be slightly harder
i am open to suggestions of other trails as well

I think we should hit it regardless, we don't really know much about the guy who gave that report and besides that there's a lot time between now and then (snow melt). 8 inches isn't that bad.
Mountain Man I wouldn't be too worried about the shoes.
