UT Body Mount Chop

Has anyone here in Utah had a good experience with a shop doing a body mount chop? I am looking into getting some larger tires just for offroading and I dont think I will be able to avoid the rubbing issues. I heard Anarchy Offroad did them in the past but I have never had any luck getting in touch with anyone there and I'm not sure if they are in business anymore.

Thanks,

Craig

If 3%heros shop can't do it I have a friend who can. He did mine and it looks factory. He's in Moab right now and will be back this next week. I think he charges around $150-$200 or so. Let me know.

Re: UT Body Mount Chop

3% went to a 4x4 shop on the northwest corner of 7200 south and 1300 west I forget the name but they quoted me $250. It seemed a bit steep for me so I thought I could do it in my garage for less (like free). But if your friend does it for $150 that seems like a fair price.

He does quality work and It will look like it came from the factory. Painted and finished smooth. It will be no more than $200. I'll bet I can get him to do it for $150

Re: UT Body Mount Chop

I did my chop today, I used a sawzall then went to a local welding shop to have the cut box'd in, cost $80. I've got DC-1 16x8 wheels and 285/75/16 Parnelli Jones tires. I had to cut about an inch at an angle. No lift in the front yet, but I have the AllPro Fox 2.0 adjustables on order for a leveling lift. Good luck!
