Re: For those interested in Five Mile in Utah County

Any interest in Sat morning? Looks like I am in. I am going to try to beat the weather and get an early start. I do not want to detract from the Sunday run but any takers?

Re: For those interested in Five Mile in Utah County

Sorry Dlister,

Today isn't going to work out. But for anyone interested in Five Mile tommorow, Action Jackson and myself will be meeting at this intersection tommorow at 10. There is a gas station on the Northwest corner we'll caravan from.

Re: For those interested in Five Mile in Utah County

We did brave the snow! while it put a damper on things that we wanted to do, we were still able to mess around a bit and have fun. here are a few pics, KBJames has more and im sure he will add them when he can.
My FJ loses her inocence

KB almost makes a terrible mistake by following this path

into the ravine

and back out gets stuck. after a few minutes of stacking rocks, backing up and making a run we were back out and going again

exploring

climing hills
FJs from a hill top

gully path

flex, and

HANG

Re: For those interested in Five Mile in Utah County

It was a blast, and I wish the pics I had gotten were as good as Steves..

And holly cow, I had no clue how high my left rear wheel was going over that obstacle.

Here are the pics I took:

Here is Steve:

Here we are fooling around in the snow. I hit a deep rut that we couldn't see but thankfully the rig surivived it.

Steve was a good trail leader. We followed this trail so far into the foothills, starting thinking it was time to turn around..

Heading back down the hill...

Steve shredding it...

He also got his tires off the ground on that same obstacle, but I missed it. Sorry Steve.

We had a total blast and couldn't have had more fun playing around in the area, despite getting stuck in a precarious spot for 15-20 minutes. Next time I will be taking a snatch strap with me...
