Tucson FJ's

Hey all!

My name is Alvin and I am a member of Copper State Cruisers, an AZ Toyota 4x4 club. I head up the Southern AZ stuff and I have applications in my rig if anyone is interested in joining. Most of our members are in the PHX area but there are a few of us in Tucson. We get together every 2nd friday of the month to kick the tires and check out the rigs. You don't need to be a club member to come out, and we would love to see some of the FJ's out there. http://forum.ih8mud.com/showthread.php?t=88675 Link to the when and where

If any of you are attending the June 10th Test team run at Desoto mine, I will meet you there.

Glad to meet ya
I'll be going up to the run also unless they cancel it. Yesterday they had a fire up in the Mayer area. Don't know if it is still going. Also some rain I'm guessing. We may have to go to the alternate area. Check out the Southwest Forum beforehand.as we may all meet on the way up and caravan it.

Thanks for the update. Read a few of your pages looks like you have a great crew. Great idea to bring some fire equiptment, I'll throw in an extra extinqusher am already bringing extra few gallons of water if anyone needs it. I'm a realnewbie and have a stock FJ. Don't plan on heavy duty offroading but want to learn how to properly use the rig.

Do you have any good club stickers? I can't get anyone from the AZ TLCA to respond to my emails.

That seems to be a common complaint about the AZLCA. Copper State Cruisers is a different club and yes, we have cool stickers. Check out www.copperstatecruisers.org and the club forum on www.ih8mud.com

Re: Tucson FJ's

Just made it home from the monthly Toyota gathering here in Tucson. We had my 80, a 40, a 62 and 2 seriously built Taco's. Didn't see any FJ's come out though. Of course I only gave you all about 2 days notice.

Come out next month July 14th. see the link above for the when and where

Re: Tucson FJ's

Thought I would bump this back to the front. Lets see some Tucson FJ's come out next month. September 8th will be the next pizza meet.
There's a lot of FJ's rolling around Tucson. I try to wave at as many as I can. Some wave back, others look at me like I'm high.
I hope some of you can make it out next month.
