grrrr saturday events. I hate having to work saturdays. When you plan the events Scott make sure you split up the sat and sunday runs so I can get out of the house and get my rig dirty. A buddy from work gave me a trail guide on DVD from the BLM has a bunch of USGS topo maps with the trails, however I did find it lacking a large portion of the local trails as well as missing a ton of the Moab trails.

1. Dim your headlights for approaching vehicles, even if the gun is loaded, and the deer is in sight.
2. When approaching a four-way stop, the vehicle with the largest tires always has the right of way.
3. Never tow another car using panty hose and duct tape.
4. When sending your wife down the road with a gas can, it is impolite to ask her to bring back beer.

Promise you on that Steve, we do lots on Sundays as our Babysitter is a Saturday churchgoer. We'll definitly split it up. Like to do a couple of overnights too. I think since we still have well over a hundred inches in the spots we want to hit in the Uintas it would be fun to do another one day trip around the Great Salt Lake. It uses great portions of the old Transcontinental Railroad bed and is a real blast. You get to see a bunch of ghost towns and this time of year it wouldn't be so blazing hot. A couple of other ghost town destinations out that way too. I'll get cracking on some more planing, but how many would be interested in a round the lake day? There are pics from Mr. Tibbs and Smigett with us last year here:
I think we stopped for 6 ghost towns and an old graveyard, there was more but we were trying to beat the dark. Now we actually know the route . The GPS got us through pretty flawlessly the first time but it's nice to have a track out in the middle of nowhere
I'd like to go asap, which day or weekend are you free Kathy? I'm good for either day this weekend. Next weekend would work too. I have a comittment with a run over memorial day I was invited to so I'm not free that weekend but I'll share with everyone when I get back.
11th or 18th I may even be able to con the future Mrs AJ into comming But it looks like a good run. Im game

Either day next weekend, 17th and 18th, is wide open. I hope that works for everyone else as well. Can't wait to see everyone.
I have a new toy too. Or maybe I should say, that giant cup holder in my front bumper, is now FINALLY filled with a large recovery device
