Question Re: Custom Rock Rails, Arizona folks

Is anyone in the Phoenix area still interested in doing a group order on some rock rails to save money (shipping and volume)? Contact had been made with the folks at Demello but the specifics depend on how many people are interested. We might be able to do a group install too after they arrive. What say you?

I'm up for that. I think the Demello sliders are one of the better ones out there. Keep us posted. Thanks.

I've got a bender and welder. I may start mine as early as next weekend. The problem is the heat, but when theyre done I'll post pics and maybe crank out a few more.

Tired of the drama with my fabricator and just plain tired of waiting. I just bought a set from Trail Gear for $299. I'll either get them powder coated, spray painted (with quality rustoleum), or bed linered. Not sure, I'll post pics and change my avatar when they are installed.

The hotter it gets, the easer it is to bend tubing because it's closer to its melting point!

It's been 113 degrees here at the shop and I have been bending tube for my Samurai. I was just trying to find some humor to the heat.

I'd be interested in that roadrage, that is if you all haven't already done so.

Re: Custom Rock Rails, Arizona folks

FJLarry and JJSterner,
I've had several people contact me about rails and it looks like we have enough for a group buy but we are waiting for one more well known Phoenix based manufacturer to debut their rock rails first. I'm withholding the name until they make an annoucement. You'll know the name when you see it. It could mean zero shipping charge and we might be the first ones with this style. Pictures should be available soon. I'll keep you posted.
