ocr14a is the Idaho Springs area too far for you?
If I can make it (I'll know for sure sometime tomorrow), that'd be fine, as long as the trailhead isn't like another 20 or 30 miles away from there.

Thanks for asking.

LOL, after our China Wall run I am not doing that again, there's way too many trails around here for me to drive that far again for a one day thing. For Moab yes, for something like all the others around here the answer is NO!!

Took us about 40 minutes just to get to the meeting place, then almost another hour and half just to get the trailhead, FJCruzer123 and I were wondering if we'd have enough gas for the run when we finally got there.

Re: May 10 and 11th run?

I would love to do another trail with you guys. However, this weekend isn't a good one for me. Maybe next time.

Re: May 10 and 11th run?

So there's a few that I have heard about that I wouldn't mind doing. Not sure if they are open or not though or how much snow cover there still is.

Bill Moore Lake
TrailDamage.com - Bill Moore Lake

In the same area:

Red Elephant Hill
TrailDamage.com - Red Elephant Hill

Mill Creek
TrailDamage.com - Mill Creek

I guess if I had to pick one it would be Bill Moore Lake, but Red Elephant sounds good too.

What do you all think?

Ya, I think so too.
The only part I'm not so much into is,
"Dirt & Mud: "
If it's regularly like that, what does that mean for right now, during snow-melt season? As long as stuff like that mud hole in the first video is optional, I'm cool.

What about the last Jeep in the second video? What a wimp!
Are they serious? Why even post something like that?

Oh well. I know....they're all jsut out there having fun like we are. So, none of that attitude crap really matters. I just think it's funny when I hear so much of it (attitude) from Jeepers, and then I see things like that).

Re: May 10 and 11th run?

Bill Moore or Mill Creek would be fine. Mill creek is across the road from me, well red elephant is too but last year we went up red elephant in june and we got through all the hard crap and ran into a 5 foot drift still. now granted we didn't have 3 blizzards in a row this winter..but it's hard to predict. I also find red elephant pretty gnarly. We have spring creek that is behind our house that is gnarly in some places but can be bypassed.
