remember the low end is a 4, so there are bypasses for that stuff
Good.
As much as I long for the days when we'll be able to take Sandi over the worst of that (it will happen eventually as we build her up), I'm pretty sure we'd just scrape off a bunch of stuff we still need under there at this point (not even anything beyond the goofy factory skids, let alone no lift).
Yeah ummmm remember some of the "others" are skeptics of Fj's.... they'll make this trail sound really hard. Like stirrin up chickens. The rock garden is not opened but some pretty cool sites to visit.

Hey... I resemble that remark.
I did not make this run last year, so I cannot speak from personal experience. I believe the information was that it would suck to have to back long distance down the narrow shelf road if snow blocked the trail along certain sections.
Last July they got an 05 Taco through open/open with nothing but a lift and ATs, so clearly an FJ with the proper driver/spotter/experience/equipment can do it. And the snow might have some impact on bypasses, but won't know until someone gets to it!

Eric the only reason why I mentioned this trail is because it's pretty much in our backyard. Bill has gone up it alot of times this spring already. I went up 2 times with him. Bypasses are not covered with snow, and we never thought we'd be able to make it to the top. There are alot of side roads to take to go to cool mine sites and what have you. I just thought 3.5 miles is a pretty good stretch that's is known for sure to be passable...Bill Moore Lake is not even worth trying. Bill and I found some new trails yesterday and at 9,000 ft elevation it wis not passable.

I'm game for slaughter house again too.... just say it is... and that's what we'll do!

I am in with Spring Creek, if the bypasses are good to go then I am good to go. It looks like there will be plenty for us to play on too out there, kind of a mixture, if you want to do a technical run or not. I have been wanting to go check out some of the old mining sites here in Colorado, anyway.
Umm. Only good tires. Is that enough ' proper equipment'?
steven
CHECK!!

You definitely know better than I about the trails up there (and yes, I'm jealous that you get to play more than I do!) I just get a little touchy about the "us" vs "them" stuff. It must be my split personality since I'm an us AND a them
