Calling all Nevada & Utah FJC Owners

Hello & Howdy Anyone near Las Vegas or Salt Lake City,
Disabled Explorers will be undertaking a Continental Divide Expedition this summer and on the way north we would like to have a meet & greet with local 4wd clubs & folks in Las Vegas on July 5th and Salt Lake City on July 6th....
Disabled Explorers - Route Planning
this is a link to the area on the site with more info...
What I could really use is someone in those areas who could provide info for planning...or help set things up.
The goal for both locations is to have somewhere we can hangout, maybe grill some hotdogs or potluck and let media see it all to bring attention to the need for vehicle enhances access to the backcountry by the disabled.

For Las Vegas my thoughts are that we could meet at that casino near the dam and run the Bitter Springs byway as a group into North Las Vegas then meetup somewhere indoors....maybe a shop by the racetrack would support us? Maybe one of the buggie rental shops? Shelby would be cool Or the Speedway themselves?

For SLC I don't think there will be time for a trail run since we won't be in town till 6ish but a cookout/potluck and park or place to gather for media would be cool.

I am working on vendor prizes for give-a-way drawings and such and other goodies for ya'll...

Help please

thanks in advance

Re: Calling all Nevada & Utah FJC Owners

I'm sure some of us could get together on the 6th. It may be difficult for some because of the 4th of July weekend. But it may also be easier for some. The touristy places will be mad. (Moab)

We are just getting the Utah Cruisers group going, and they've had a few good runs in the short time we've been associated.

my email is gericurl76@hotmail.com

Re: Calling all Nevada & Utah FJC Owners

emails sent to both and thank you guys very much.....
Due to cost and there being 3 rigs....please let me know about camping options...

SLC camping north of town would cut down on the next days drive, even if we had to leave after the meet & greet to go setup camp in the dark.....

Although Las Vegas might be just too hot to camp...
all thougths welcome
