Re: Utah Cruisers: Uintas during Summit on 7/19

The wife (Val), Ben (3 1/2 yo) and I will try to make it. If you post GPS coordinates (or PM) I can always catch up if we are a bit late.

Hey Kalen, we went though midway also (Flymatic showed us the way-thanks Devin!) went through Cascade springs on the way home. Love all the pictures. I will post my pictures on the photo thread, but link back to here so no one misses these.

Thank you MoabRat for heading this up!

Not a problem Scott, I only took a few pics this time around. Your thread in the trip section is good.

Delray,

I saw you guys at the light right behind me whe you turned left on the main highway going thru Heber City. I actually went back thru American Fork canyon via what seemed to be at least to me a pretty obscure trail. It starts in Provo canyon literally right at the base of the dam. Its very steep for the 1st mile or so and heads due north up and over those large hills. It then winds back down into a canyon and makes for some very tight driving with steep descents and several creek crossings.

I then found another trail that climbed high up where I found that clearning and a great shot of the back side of timp. Very nice stuff, I love American Fork canyon!!!
