TV/RADIO 98.3 FM Arizona

This weekend I happen to come across a radio station that was very different as I was switching through the frequencies in Phoenix so I thought I would share.

It seems that 98.3 FM is a station where they play tv series opening credit music on the radio. For instance they played the music from "Sex and the City" to Sesame Street. The only annoying part was that after each music was the announcement of the radio station in Mayor. There were no commercials and I only picked up the station on the SR51. I couldn't pick it up in Tempe or other locations of the valley. Maybe it was one of those weird Sun spots events.

It made for some great fun that kept us amused as we tried to remember the old TV show from the music and if we still remembered the tune as we sang along.

Cheers,

98.3 is KZGL, the Z, out of Cottonwood I believe. They play alternative rock. I pick it up in my FJ in Glendale. I haven't heard the stuff you are talking about. If you take a trip to Flag or Prescott you'll pick it up loud and clear. They used to be on 95.9 but an oldies station took over a couple weeks ago.
