Re: Dual Exhaust by Borla Available Now

Is this the borla version of the TRD special edition exhaust? Doesn't borla make the standrds TRD exhaust as well?

The 'Special Edition' FJ uses the standard single TRD Exhaust and it was not made by Borla according to TRD. Hope that helps.

Does it sound like the TRD? Or deeper? Do you have any pics? You know we love pics here.

IMO, yes it sounds better than the TRD exhaust I heard in person. It's quieter yet sounds deeper. I can snap some pics if the pics on Sparks Toyota website is not sufficient. Just let me know.

Re: Dual Exhaust by Borla Available Now

I'd buy it if you knock another 50% off the sale price. other wise I will keep my Gibson noise maker. What we really need is a cat-forward system for a reasonable price.

Would you mind? Just a couple shots from a standing position would be great. The Sparks site mostly shows underneath the rig. It'd be nice to see it from a normal viewing position. Thank you!

Yes, they'll take off an additional 50% just so they can lose money...that was sarcasm. Why knock on Borla's exhaust if the original poster (Sparks Toyota) hasn't knock on Borla's competitors? Sheesh...
