Re: No roadie thread?

Those Lynskey's are nice! Great pricing too! I was wondering if they would get back into bike building after they sold Lightspeed.

Re: No roadie thread?

While not a true roadie, I like my mountain bikes tooooo much, I do ride a Moots compact quite a bit and my SO rides a Carrera. The Moots will soon need to find a new home as I just bought a Look 585.

Re: No roadie thread?

I ride a titanium Willits road bike. It's one of the few Willits road frames in existence (they generally make only mountain bikes). I started out on mountain bikes and eventually branched out. I normally do 7-9 thousand feet of climbing a week. I just find doing hills agrees with me, especially since I try to spend a lot of the summer in Colorado and it doesn't hurt to have all that climbing in my legs before I go.

Re: No roadie thread?

All arounder here.

Mostly cyclcocross (Indy Fab, On One singlespeed, Van Dessel CRB) but I've also got my nice weather, Sunday ride road bike I put together on a fluke. Steelman road frame w/ carbon stays. I got it cheap on ebay from the Fedex clearing house. It was a frame damaged in shipment. They paid Steelman back and I bought it cheap. He's 5 min from my house so it cost $100 to repair the damage (gotta love steel). I'm running double Ultegra 10, which is butter. I could be tempted to try the new SRAM Force though...

17.9 lbs, not bad for a steelie...

Re: No roadie thread?

Did any of you guys see that Floyd Landis announced that he will not race in France untill 08? Kind of s no-brainer Floyd as you got sacked by your team and then the sponsor backed out! I still think something is a little too weird about Floyds dopping case but like Tylers case we will probably never know the truth.
