No roadie thread?

Just noticed there isn't a road cyclist thread in here. Only mtb'ers drive fjs? I have a carbon tcr but was just in a car accident. Hoping to get everything taken care of and should be getting the isp-frame advanced team. Any other roadies driving fjs?

I know us triathletes are often shunned by the true roadies, but I enjoy a good spin on the skinny-tired 2-wheelers as well. I have a Cervelo Tri Bike and a Trek road bike.

I'm a roadie too. Ride my Lemond Zurich when I can in the summer

Re: No roadie thread?

I don't have an FJ yet (long story) but I am a long time roadie. I started in the days of skinny tubes of lugged steel(84) and I currently ride a Wilier Triestina Alpe D'Huez thats an aluminium/ carbon mix with Campy record/FSA carbon crank drivetrain, Deda bars and stem, Easton carbon post and Campy Proton wheels. I don't race anymore so no ultralight race wheels. I am also working on a fixie/SS project with an old Viner steel frame-I need to get a rear wheel built with a flip flop hub and either a trak crank or mod the Campy Veloce on it to a single ring.

Re: No roadie thread?

I still have my first road bike, a Rossin Ghibli. It has the old Campy Record with the Delta brakes and the Mavic tubulers. My new bike is a Litespeed Tusccany. I had it built with Campy Record CT, Easton fork. and Campy Eurus wheels. I can hardly wait till the snow is gone, ridding indoors sucks, Spinervals help.

Re: No roadie thread?

Another roadie here. I ride a Bianchi Freccia Celeste. It is Carbon/Aulum with Campy Record. Bianchi USA 2006: Freccia Celeste HC/Record. It was a team bike for Liquigas last year. It is an amazing ride.

I'm stuck inside riding here in Seattle too. Although today is sun, I should have brought my bike to work. Oh well.

Nice to see some roadies out there.

Cheers,
Hutch

Re: No roadie thread?

Spinervals, yuck. My longest trainer session was 1.5 hours. I died of boredom.

Re: No roadie thread?

I work at a shop here in Portland. I have a langster fixed gear right now. I just finished building this up for a customer W/2007 record. Pretty cool.

Re: No roadie thread?

I have a custom Landshark with dura ace. Thinking about a serotta. I am a certified serotta fit tech. Not nearly as fun as mountain biking but I still get out on the road.
WELCOME TO LAND SHARK

Re: No roadie thread?

Land Sharks are nice, we see a lot of them over here.

My next road bike or fixie might be a Lynskey Performance . We just picked them up and the few we have sold are very well done.
