This is actually the activity that got me involved in off-road vehicles in the first place. I can't seem to get enough. It's gotten to the point where I am setting up routes on the laptop (in the passenger seat beside me) using the Watcher GPX utility and Garmins Mapsource program. The Nav system gets me to the area quick fast and in a hurry, then the hand held Garmin eTrex puts me on spot.

Do a lot of geocaching with the kids but not quite as well equipped as you are. Meridian colour, GSAK and google earth are our main tools. Have a couple of travel bugs out there as well, one of which is 6000km into it's travels. Geocaching - The Official Global GPS Cache Hunt Site for anyone that has no idea what we're talking about.
That really sounds like a lot of fun. Modern day nerdy. Today's version of a guy on the beach with a metal detector.

I was just on one of the coin websites and saw an arrowhead coin that is going to be released that has an FJ on it and it says cruiserdude. Looks really nice.

kinda like a treasure hunt. Instead of using maps and such you download coordinates into a handheld GPS and then go find the spots you loaded. Great way to spend time outside

Sounds neato'... Now, Who comes up with these
locations, and what is there, and who puts it
