Are there any fellow rugby players on this forum?

Cheers!

Yes, inside center here. Glad to have other fans of the greatest sport on earth (my opinion).

Re: Rugby

OI!

yeah, played on a st.louis men's club all through college/grad school until i got too injured in a bad bike racing accident to keep playing (torn up shoulder/separated retina).
after playing scrum for seven years i never got as hurt on the pitch as i did racing my bike.

back in brooklyn i'd head out and watch the various tournaments whenever i had time.

one of my favorite moments was in an exhibition match at a tulane tourney where we played the c-side for the all-blacks.
their hooker was bigger than me (and i'm not small).
it wasn't even a game (we got one drop to something like ten trys) but we had a great time and they were really really nice guys.

Re: Rugby

Hey boys, I'm an active lock for the Denver Highlanders Rugby Football Club, Men's Division I here in Colorado. Picked it up while studying abroad in Dublin, played in college and never looked back. Truly the game played in heaven -- if any of ya'll olde boys make it to Aspen Ruggerfest next year give me a holler.

Re: Rugby

Rugby is awsome. I know NFL is a tough sport but Rugby is like the next level IMO.

Re: Rugby

The back door she got!! I don't work there anymore! Great stuff. I used to play with a club team in Durango. The Rhinos, a few college players but mostly local fireman and the such. I never played at the Aspen Ruggerfest but have spectated a few of them. Amazing time!

Does she have the furrow brow?
