I'm tired of borrowing the next door neighbor's... (plus, he's moving!)
Noooooo, they are too big and heavy. Just about any other brand. In my shop, I have a few Dewalts and a couple of Hithaci. Porter Cable, Makita, Milwaukee, Ridgid, Bosch . . . all good.
If you haven't bought the tool box yet, I would recommend you get one with ball bearing drawer slides. They slide easier when loaded with tools and you will be happier in the long run.

Ok, how many volts do I need? I just do little house projects... so far mainly related to keeping my toddler from killing himself.
Here is the tool box I was going to get.... "compound-action drawer slides" doesn't sound like ball bearing to me. But $70 off!
On the tool box, if the price is right, do it. If you decide down the road you need something better, you can always use this one for something else.
On the drill, a decent 12 volt will do the job. A 14.4 is good. Anything bigger is a waste of money and makes it much heavier. Lithium Ion isn't necessary either. Often times, Lowes has drills marked down to make room for newer models. You might shop on Amazon as well and check the opinions.

Don't log off yet, Woods! How's about this one?? 90 bucks off!
I like those Waterloo ones as well (with the big storage bin area), but they are out of stock.
I will check Amazon on the drills... I am about to place an order with them anyway for some other Xmas gifts. Thank you!!! rep to you!!!!!!!
Just drop one of those ball bearing chests on top for the little stuff and you'll be fine. Sears often has the tool boxes in other colors as well . . . but they may not be marked down.

Ok, I'm getting the 4 drawer ball bearing type. Red is the most marked down. Not sure if we really need the additional 3 drawer chest on top of there, but it IS on sale as well...
Guess I'll pick out tools when I go pick up the chest at Sears.

Go ahead and get the six drawer. It's cheap - only $10 more. You'll need it before you know it. Please proceed with purchase.

Speaking of power tools what are the best choices for cordless impact wrenches that can be used on lug nuts? Overland Journal mentioned the Snap on but it is very price. Also looking for the best digital torque wrench. Any suggestions?
