Re: Watch out! Lakers and Gasol

Yeah I know! Houston is really rolling. I need to take a look at their schedule. That's the 3rd longest streak by any team in NBA history.

Mark. I feel for you. They practically lost their starting 5. Corey's gotta be very frustrated.
Most night everyone's frustrated in there, fans included. Close games are great, and honestly, I don't care too much if they W/L. Last year and early this year it was mostly like this. But the blow-outs we've been getting this last month are just are a sad waste of time because the visiting team starts putting junk players in and there's no tension...

Re: Watch out! Lakers and Gasol

I know what you mean. I don't know why Clippers didn't call time outs early in the 3rd. They should've made some adjustments, but they just let it keep going. Phoenix is in trouble. 3 and 6 since the trade. Heads are going to roll for that trade. Wow, Houston has not lost since late January!

Thu 07 vs Cleveland W 92-77
Sat 09 vs Atlanta W 108-89
Mon 11 vs Portland W 95-83

...it's been a little bit soft, but big wins over Dallas and New Orleans are in there (tho everyone's been beating Dallas recently)

I'm in Houston right now, so I'm pondering going to Monday's game (yeah - you can still buy tickets - go figure)

Re: Watch out! Lakers and Gasol

They're going to get a good test next week when they go against Lakers, Boston, New Orleans, and Phoenix. Houston? For fun or business?

Lakers will get NO, Houston, Dallas, and Utah. Good test to see if they are ready too. Bynum seem to be behind schedule.

yeah the spurs f'n sucked tonight, Pop pulled the starters early. Im blaming this one on Pops engineering on wanting the 2nd seed lol

There have been so many mixed reports on this. I would hope that he would come back at least a couple weeks before the playoffs. The last I saw was that he was still jogging in the pool and had not tried to run on the treadmill. I think he is the key to making the lakers the favorites to win versues just contenders. San Antonio is going to be tough to get by without him, but we shall see.
