odom, farmar, and any other scrub contracts for kidd.
We don't need Kidd and Farmar will be fine once he gets the offense down pat.

BTW - the Shaq/Marion thing is great! Shaq can't/won't play D. Will get used on D by the big men in the West and since he can barely make it up the court he won't be spectacular on O. And, Marion will be a number 2 guy who has to set up his own shot and he CAN'T! Marion was "good" because he ran the wing and just got the ball, he didn't have to do anything since Nash was running the show. He can't create his own shot at all and Riley doesn't run the offense he'd be remotely successful in. It's great because I hate them both!

Yeah I hate anybody on the Lakers or maybe its just people in general from LA, meh that sounds about right
See you in the play-offs. Tell that little weasel Parker to man up, won't be very easy this time around.

...What the heck happened in Atlanta, though ?
Pinky issues? Supposedly Kobe dislocated his pinky a couple of games ago and he's been playing with it taped to his ring finger. I don't know how legit an excuse that is.

Re: Watch out! Lakers and Gasol

we may not "need" kidd. but, i bet you along with all the analysts would say what a great trade it would be if we got him for lamar and farmar.

I hope He does, He has been a little b!tch about his bone spur lol, I dont know if there that painfull but cant they just operate and cut it out or something? Is a bone spur just a little chip out of the bone or a little extra calcium growth err something like that?

Maybe, I think Farmar is going to be a great point gaurd. If we brought Kidd in to LA I think he would feel trapped in the triangle, just like Payton did. Kidd would love to come to LA he is always talking about how he is or was a huge Laker fan when he was a kid. I think the Lakers will stay with what they have now. once Bynum gets back it will be amazing!!

Re: Watch out! Lakers and Gasol

I agree NMVoodooFJ. I wouldn't mess with it right now. Just need to be patient and wait for Bynum.

Re: Watch out! Lakers and Gasol

don't get me wrong, i'm one of farmar's biggest fans. as a fellow bruin, i can appreciate his talents. that said, if we wanted to win NOW, you can't discount what kidd can bring to the table. while payton will certainly be a HOF player, and one of the better PGs in the history of this league, you just can't compare him to kidd. payton was a score first PG, and his diminishing physical abilities made him a liability on defense and offense.

Re: Watch out! Lakers and Gasol

Lakers has the chance to work for a few rings with the current setup. Everyone is relatively young and the key pieces are in place. Kidd might be a viable option for maybe few years, but I think he's going to have problem on defense. Kidd's going to have a hard time keeping up with Parker.

Re: Watch out! Lakers and Gasol

kidd's still one of the best defensive guards in the league.

although, i don't necessarily like the idea of getting kidd as much as the idea of getting rid of lamar. that lazy, good for nothing, low basketball IQ, waste of talent (yes, i'm holding back).
