Re: Stanley Cup? Your team still in?

Very good game! Wings scored two unanswered goals and go back to the Joe up 3-1. Killing the 5 on 3 in the third was HUGE, but I think Pittsburgh shot themselves in the foot when they called a time out at that point. But, that's just my opinion. I could be wrong....

The Pens only have one powerplay unit, they needed to get some rest for their big guys. The inability to generate a good scoring opportunity on the 5 on 3 killed them. If you can't score with a two man advantage and that much offensive talent, you don't deserve to win the cup.

I think it is possible that the Penguins could win the cup but I feel Detroit will finish them off tonight. I just hope it doesn't go until midnight again. That was a Loooong Game.

I'm proud of my Pens and proud of the fans in the stadium. That last shot was a heart-breaker. Even so, it was good to see almost everyone stay to applaud the Red Wing's accomplishment.
