that catcher must have expected that. i understand that he was trying to make the play, but his positioning was terrible. the runner was only doing his job.

I watched that play. The only person who felt worse than Mrs. Young was Mr. Pujols. You could just see it. He prayed with our player, Gonzalez, right there on the field when it happened.

Mariners dodging a bullet by not getting St. Louis in interleague play this year. When Ms and Pads get together next in June, maybe both teams need riot gear. Well, come to think of it, never mind. ;-)
