I record it every week. Decent fight, glad he won. The kid is a bull, super strong and powerful. Hope he can improve his stand up so he can keep going in the tournament...

if you mean the Ultimate Fighter reality show....Jesse won last night but was not very impressive. neither fighter was going for it and lot of slow spots. one laid on back and the other punched him in body and head a few times....but no real damage caused by punches.
second fight between Amir and Matt Brown was a nonstop punch fest...

I agree that Jesse wasn't that impressive but looking at Dante's face during the post fight interviews, it was apparent that those blows were more significant than they appeared. Ground and pound isn't always the most exciting fighting but a tactic nonetheless.
I was pulling for Matt but Amir pulled off the win. Very good fight and Amir does have a very solid chin. Matt popped him hard and he didn't hardly blink. The knees by Amir to Matt's body were crazy and clearly put him in a bad way. Good fight for sure.

Missed it last night, one of the only shows if not the only show I really try and watch. I guess I will have to catch a rerun this weekend.
Kind of sad how his dad doesn't support him, MMA is the future of sporting, its bigger then boxing and pay will soon be getting to the same point, at least in my mind.

Ok, now I am enlightened! Missed that one. The only fighting going on at my house last night was the fish in our pond fighting over the termites that were swarming to their light.

eeeeeek.. i had it DVR last night, as i was sooo exhausted when i got home from work.. planned on watching it today.. lol.. tried to resist reading the post about it.. cause i didnt wanna spoil my -white knuckle jaw clenching watching the UFC adventure - sigh.. i just couldnt resist.
i knew that matt and amir match up was gonna be awesome.. im excited to watch it tonight when i get home.
yeah Amir has a good chin..had a few good hands in there and a knee....plus like you said those body shots and upper thigh shots with knees take a huge toll on you as I can attest in my youth in martial arts...
as far as jesse...he needs to learn how to do short elbows and hammer fist more...he expended a lot of energy....hell the way he eats and the junk he consumes...it is a wonder he can keep any fitness LOL
next week should be good one too as CB and the other kid dont get along very well....LOL

One word: Netflix. They have them all. But you'll have to wait for me to return a couple because we just went through a Rescue Me marathon. Great show!

Yes, Jesse is a big 'ol brick. I never watch this stuff; I don't like the fights.
But it was kind of cool watching someone we had some connection to if only by name. I have to agree with you, Brock. It looked like Jesse just sort of dog-piled on the other guy. Until you look at that guy's bruised up face in the interview!
