Here is the lowdown for all of the MMA fans.

This Saturday night (5/31) CBS is hosting Kimbo Slice against somebody who doesn't stand a chance at 9:00 eastern. If you don't know, now you know. Kimbo is one of the baddest muthas around and a genuinely nice guy.

And then Sunday night on Versus is the "LiL Evil" and old school Jens Pulver vs "The California Kid" and new tech style Urijah Faber.

I'm stoked and have the Orville Redenbocker and the Singha ready for viewing.
The only fights I have ever seen of his are against no name peeps in a back yard. I want to see him fight a top ranked guy to see what hes really got. Is there any good fighters in Elite Bill?

I hope I can watch Saturday night.

What is this "Versus" you talk about?

I'm skeptical about the whole CBS thing, I think that they are jumping on the UFC/WEC bandwagon. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad that one of the "mainstream" networks is airing this in primetime, its just too bad it isn't fighters worth of such a stage like the Pulver/Faber or Silva/Franklin fights.

The Pulver vs Faber fight is a clash of styles that will make for a great event. I think Faber is unbeatable and I really like Pulver but he is in the "twilight" of his career. This fight is going to be well worth watching and its FREE! I can guarantee where my butt will be Sunday, probably Sat also...

I'm skeptical too, but Kimbo is the real deal. He is a BAD BAD BAD dude.

Re: UFC tonight (Wednesday, May 28)

ok.. speaking of mma.. ufc, i finally JUST finally got a chance to watch my DVR episode of the UFC.

i have to say.. what im left feeling with is a bit of dissapointment. the dante jesse fight i think, should have been way more action packed.. i expected way more from dante.. jesse is a beast however.. so i think dante did a good job at staying alive on the ground, and he took numerous hits pretty well. i dunno.. i dont think those two were a good match up. but all in all, they both did pretty well.

the matt brown/amir fight.. on the other hand, was reminiscent of the good ole forrest griffin vs. stephan bonnar fight, tons of action, tons of skill.. tons of energy... only difference, way more kicks ... and way less blood. lol.. but i LOVED the fight. i knew that one was gonna be a good match up.. i thought for sure matt was done once amir passed his guard.. but he managed to get out and i think handled himself very well... i think the only thing that stopped matt from winning that fight, was the lack of coaching. amir has awesome coaching throughout that entire fight! they were a freakin even match up if i ever saw one...but i never ever expected to see it end with a choke... with heavy handed guys like that.. i thought for sure it was gonna be a KO kinda fight. .. either way.. id like to see them both in the UFC for a long time.

cant wait til next weeks.. CB is lookin wicked!!
and i wish someone would beat the freaking crap out of jeremy.. hes sucha lil chode!!!
