Utah pics, Flyfishing, and the FJ

Hit some local water here in Utah this past Sunday and thought I would again share with the forum how crappy Northern Utah looks....took the long way home via a network of trails connecting through the back country to my home in Heber....took a few pics....and caught a lot of fish....enjoy!!

Mother Nature:

Duchesne Ridge...

The streams...

Nice to see the Fj waiting for me when I was done...

Oh yeah...can't forget about the fish...Cutts and Browns...

...and as I was heading down through the trails to civilization, and down through the neighborhoods....I saw something that reminded me of why I live where I do....I guess looking at this everyday doesn't suck.....

Mount Timpanogos...lucky timing to catch the rays of the Sun shining down on Mount Timp. in all it's glory...

Sorry if I offended any of you that live in the flatlands or deserts that never see this side of Mother Nature.

Thank you for sharing the beautiful pictures. I too just got back from a fly fishing trip this past weekend. You wouldn't believe how similar the terrain of Utah and the foothills of Alberta look.

The great thing is that I'm only 25-35 minutes away from all of this. Did you take any pics of your trip? If so I would like to see them.

I've got pictures but I think I'd have to send them to you privately. I'm not sure how to upload, other than a thumbnail sized picture, to this thread.

You can download your pics to another site like photobucket or flickr. Then transfer the larger images here.

Re: Flyfishing and the FJ

I wish I lived somewhere like that where I could drive down the road and go fishing. Thanks for the photos.

Re: Flyfishing and the FJ

Very nice fish. I love catching those brown trout. I bought a fly rod last year but have yet catch a fish with it. However I only went out twice with it to date. Hopefully the third time will be the charm.
