If you follow baseball, you'd know that the entire complexion of a team can vary greatly from year to year.
Look, I said the Phillies are good and I sincerely meant it. However, they play in a much weaker league, a much-MUCH weaker division and won 10 less games than the Yankees.
Don't take this the wrong way and throw a hissy fit, but I don't think Philly would beat the Angels, Red Sox or maybe even the Twins.... they certainly won't be the Yankees.
Cliff Lee was absolutely brilliant in Game 1 but he will likely only get 1 more start.
I'm a "huge" baseball fan and agree that the Yankees are an all around better team. However, it will go the Phillies route this year just like last. It will go the full seven.

I was born in Philly, raised in the Philly burbs. I was a fan back in the day when Von Hayes and Tug McGraw were around. Was cool to see them win last year, would even be cooler to see them win two straight. My Mom remembers the Wiz kids from the 50s series and she is loving it.
Just wanted to post how awesome it is to have the Phillies in the big show again! Make a little history having consecutive wins if possible. Hasn't been done since the early 70's I think.
Huge Phillies fan here as I grew up in South Jersey. Anxiously awaiting the start of game 3 (rain delay). I predict the Phils in 6 but I like Jimmy Rollins prediction of the Phils in 5 even better.
