I just got the side rack in thanks as always for a great product with a perfect fit. I am looking at putting a power tank on the side are guys using the power tank rack or would a large quick fist do the trick? The cost of the PT rack is like $60 or more and I could do two large quick fist for that and some change and I could also use them for other items when the PT is not in there. Does anyone have any thoughts? Also what other uses for the regular quick fist have you found? I don't have a mag light or a use for one so I am looking for other alternative? I will get a pic up soon.

During the development of the side rack, Powertank was kind enough to loan us several of their PT mounts. As it turns out, it is their least expensive powertank mount that works the best. A 10 pound tank fits perfectly, a 15 pound tank is too tall for the side cargo area.

I would question the quickfists ability to keep a 28 pound tank in place during an accident, I think that the Powertank mount is a much safer option.
