Toyota Navigation System for FJ Cruiser 'from Canada'?
I just removed my FJammer, Blu-Logic, Garmin In-dash Nav, and Sirius controller and installed this OEM Toyota Navigation System from a Canadian dealer.
Works great, the set up/installation was easy and it does everything and more. This also has maintenance schedules built into the touch screen database to remind you of all required maintenance!
This is a Toyota product - HOW is this NOT an option in the good ole U.S.A. or available as an accessory???
Toyota OEM Generation 6 Navigation System - Bluetooth Enabled (Comes with microphone), iPod Direct control adapter, XM Satellite Ready - USB Slot, Bluetooth Audio Streaming - SD Card Compatible, Hands Free Calling

$551 on Ebay - and I am very impressed with it! Here is the Ebay link, you can contact the seller to see if he has others available - he has sold quite a few since last year.

Looks like the Ebay store is closed since March 10. Do have any additional info?
Additionally, is it compatible with 9-speaker system with OEM subwoofer?
Where did you mount the GPS antennae?
Thanks.

Is one able to change the audio jack to USB jack to control the iPod without switching out the head unit? It this possible? Do you know what part numbers are needed?
Thank you in advance.

My guess is that it is possible, but you would need to be an electronics wizard to wire that up, to make it work for both reading/powering through the USB. The only cable I know that Toyota has produced is the one for the the Ipod and that can be bought through any American dealer and hooked up to the OEM head unit.

That's very cool, and I'm very tempted. Install instructions are included? I will pm you my email address. Thanks for the tip!

I just installed this system on my 2008; it was an easy install, thanks to Bruce's advice and works great! I played hooky from work today for an hour and a half and got this installed easily. Thanks again, Bruce!
