I ordered some seat covers from GT and was not impressed (just returned them today), but from the forum I've seen better options. I thought I would shortcut by placing the heating elements between the OEM and seat cover, but decided to bite the bullet and do it right!
I'm thinking of doing wet okole covers, I am waiting for some color swatches to arrive. I can get both fronts for ~$235, I'm also not sure how well their neoprene insulates, wouldn't be any good if they block the heat.
We did some research regarding Wet Okole for police vehicles and determined they would wear faster than the OEM fabric, so decided against them, especially considering the cost. BUT, that's based on all the duty gear wearing, not normal wear and tear.
Has anyone done the passenger side install yet. I am going to install these tomorrow and was wondering whether anyone has found out if the passenger sesnor is on the top or bootom of the cushion?
Thanks for the help! Wish me luck.......

Well it took me 6 hours to do both seats, I physically removed the seats and brought them into the house. I am afraid that if you buy longer pads than what was previously posted you need to take the bottom seat cover more than half off.
Here is a brief explanation of what I did.
Here is the product I bought off e-bay.
Here is what it looked like when it cam in the box.
Here is one of the pads before I installed it
This is the reason why I had to take almost half of the bottom seat cover off. There is a channel in the middle of the seat, with the same kind of wire previously posted running through it, that made it impossible to fit the insert any way beyond it. I think the bottom section is the most important so I took a lot of time putting it in. The wire holds the middle of the seats material to create that seam and to stop the material from shifting. I decided to run zip ties instead of using the hog rings. Because I had to punch a hole in the heat pad where the hog ties would need to go, I did not want to take a chance the metal hog tie would damage the heat pad. The zip ties look a little different in this picture than what I actually did. I poked a holel through to the bottom of the cushion and ran a longer zip tie from the bottom of the seat cushion through the heat pad around the steel wire that holds the seat fabirc in the seam. I then ran the zip tie back through the same holes in the pad and the seat to come out on the bottom of the seat. I zipped it up around a wooden dowel under the seat as tight as I could. The seam was perfect. Either way the heat pad goes all the way to the front of the bottom seat cushion.
This is the result of me pulling the zip ties tight and pulling the middle seam through the seat.
This is what the bottom of the seat with the zip ties and the wooden dowel looks like. Lots of tension and does a good job of holding the zip tie in place.
The seats look as good as they were to start. Managed to get the heated seats working after a bit of troubleshooting with the harnesses and a couple wires that came disconnected...poor workmanship is more like it.
Here is a picture of the switches.
My buns are nice and toasty when I need them to be.....ahhh!
