I'm not impressed at all! You should of done a search! It would of lead you to here. I did just the ceiling and had a 6db difference! spent maybe, maybe 200 bucks! another 400 and the whole car will be done. man you wasted alot of time and even more money, feel kinda bad for ya.

That wasn't very nice, try a little tact.

Why don't you do a nice write up on what you did so more people can benefit from your experience.

What's the matter cant take what you dish out, first of all YOU are the one that started it by posting in someone else's thread disrespectful remarks, popin off "I'm not impressed at all!", "feel kinda bad for ya" just being a complete prick. We can see your link, so if you already have this info some where, why would you state it on this thread the way you worded it, (like a little kid) other than to STIR SH*T UP as you have done. If you never mad a rude remark like that, this conversation would not be happening. And obviously I'm not the only one who feels that way as I was not the first response to your rude remark. Also, I don’t think it makes a F'n difference what you have posted in the past, im referring TO THIS POST !!! Maybe next time you should keep you’re big a*s mouth shut, if you don’t know how to say something nice/positive on other people’s posting’s....

I have never gotten nasty with ANYONE of this site before, but you my friend - please.... I gotta defend myself here.

Please lemme see your install pics. Dying to see them, and that raam mat stuff, never even heard of it. I went with what I know works, I went with what several installer schools thru out the country recommend, and this foam by mail?????? that is packing foam to ship electronics and expensive items so they can stand up to the abuse a box box has to in the bowels of UPS the postal service , fed-ex and the like..... That stuff is not designed as sound deadener, merely shock and abuse absorber. I will gladly pull my truck up next to yours any day of the week with a decibel meter and have a go with you.

Like I said, let's see some pics........ I feel bad for you, because I did not waste MY time or MY money, this is wanted I wanted to do, and how I chose to spend my money. The difference is with the products I used I wont have to do it all a second time , as you probably will after hearing what a quality product is versus what you have......

you have no tact, but alot of nerve.

YOUR COMMENTS ARE USELESS WITHOUT PICTURES.......

Re: sound deadener install

trainman0978 I feel the same way, I know what I paid for and why I did it complete. I have done this to the last three rig's I have owned and will continue to do so. I personally know other's that have just done portions of the interior, and in no way does it compare, not even close. . .

(Also, thank's for the idea of stuffing R-19 in all the empty spaces, I think this made a big difference as well)

Talking Re: sound deadener install

Where you wanna meet, i have an audio control meter! when i post i take all the bs out of it and give you the answer. if you goto second skins website they tell you how to install deadner in 3 steps. out of those steps you have options! second skin rocks imo. all i did is take the bare materials made a list and posted it. the only thing i didnt do is mention you have to glue them together. its the exact same thing, different colors but same materials used. call it what you will, its still deadner and reduces sound. at a full down poor you cant hear it other than the windshield. Im sure yours is the same.

calling someone a dick out in the open is not cool plane and simple! you dont know me or my back ground. im not saying im better than you when i say "i bet you dont own a audio contorl 3055". owning one does say something fj cruzer.

as for the meter, if your in a 5 state area, ill spl ya, no probs. im in minnesota.
