i have fitted mygps garmin the same place, above the rear view but a little unsure at the wiring. how do i do the wiring and do you have pics?

The wiring is pretty simple. I ran both the GPS power cable and the external antenna lead up inside the driver's side A-pillar and then tucked the two cables up and under the forward edge of the headliner.
