I'm waiting for a Garmin 260w now, and want to install in that same location, i just dont know if the cable is long enought to run the headliner, a-pillar and then under the dash clean to an outlet. Guess I'll have to wait til it shows up but anyone know off hand or have done this install w/ a garmin?

one more quick q, does it take any longer to acquire satellites w/out the direct view through the windshield? Anyone notice any delay? Thanks

Did you run power to this too? I installed mine there, but there is not enough cable to run throught the headliner, down a pillar and to an outlet. I can extend the cig lighter, but it's bulky and hard to hide. Any suggestions?
