Good point. Drafting and coasting make a huge difference.
Some of the big rigs around here don't like me drafting. They'll actually hit the brakes when I'm close.

My Walletgauge is depressing too.

Make sure you guys are adjusting the "fillup" thingy each time you fill up your tank.

Make sure you have the SGII set up properly (tank size, engine info, etc.)
Every time we fill it up all the way, we go to the fillup menu and put in 100% right?

Re: My scanguage II is depressing me

It took me awhile to get the sg2 workin' just right, but now it can estimate my fill within 1/2 litre!
Mileage... I keep tryin', but 20-22 mpg is the best I can get, with combined highway/city driving in the winter with the wind blowing against me both ways! With a good tail wind, like the other day, I was gettin 30 mpg! I lost that pretty quick when I had to come home against that same wind! 10 mpg!
Go Figure!

No, that's not correct. You put in how many GLs it took to fill using. For example: you filled the tank and you ended up putting in 14.7 GLs. On the menu screen you go to FILLUP and you bump the selector to 14.7.

Re: My scanguage II is depressing me

I've only ever had to just tap the fillup option, the SG selects the right fuel amount itself.

Hey this is the way I do it and it works great. It's a great way to know if a station is ripping you off too.

Next fillup just try it. It will take 2 or 3 tanks for the cpu to really figure out your FJs consumption but it should work better for you.

Again, this is the way I do it. I go to the fillup screen and click the button until I have the amount that it took me to fill the tank up. Is there another way? I'm confident this is the way to do it.
