Thanks for the props Gents... Glad you like it and
it has worked out for ya... I Just made one of the
oversized ones last night for someone who had a
need for something bigger than the standard one
that All-Pro is now producing...
If I only had more time for other items... ...

Thanks for this thread. I just received my Bandi mount and there were no instructions included. I'm sure I could have figured it out w/o them, but this post will make it loads easier!
Thanks Bandi!!

Very clever innovation there Bandi... And nice write up... I'll have to spread the word on this one... =)
Bandi, I received my Bandi CB Mount about two weeks ago from All-Pro. I thought it was coming in the white, I was happily surprised that is was already finished in black . The quality is outstanding of the mount, pure genius Bandi, GREAT job on the design. I'm running a 3' Fire Stick II on my mount. I just wanted to add my comments to your outstanding CB mount. Thanks again buddy, looking foreward to meeting you in Ouray.

Thanks SW, Appreciate it !!... It just worked
out so damn good... I have had tons of ideas
for other items, but I have not had one once
of time to do them... I am still making the
larger mounts for those who need to use
antennas with larger bases' that do not fit the
original ones, plus I have an order for a right
side version too... I hope to do these in the
next week or two...

I also have the bandi mount never installed it yet, but my question is can I install a 102" whip on the mount. I've never had great results with a firestik or a wilson fiberglass antenna. will the mount handle the extra length. I won't be using a heavy duty spring or a quick release. instead i was just gonna bend the whip towards the front and hook it on to the roof rack when not in use (about 20% of the time.) If the whip gets in contact with the body of the truck I was just gonna put a tennis ball where it would hit. Kinda old skool but it's the best way to get better signal.

I don't see ther being any issue with the wip,
I mean, you will bend/snap an antenna before
the mount would break...
I did the tennis ball on my 88Rnr way back in
the day, it WORKS !!...
Take a look a these photos... Do you see something Strange ?
OK, I get a message here and there asking if I
could make up a larger Bandi Mount for the
HAM guys... This larger mount is nothing new,
I have been doing them since last summer, But
this time, I got a new request, A pass. side Bandi
Mount, well, after playing with it for a bit, It is
done... This was made for a gent that goes by
the name KD7NAC_07FJ, and the larger size
Bandi Mount is for eecue...
