I used to Drive 24hours straight out to WI/MI area to race in the SODA Series Back when... That all ended when I got hitched and had kids (I would not trade it for the world)... But I have Only one left now at age 9... the others are all 20-21-23... So I may in another 10 =years... Geezzz...
I am going to steal that design and make my own....... just like all the other project I have laying around half done.
Actually, my initial plan was to incorporate a CB antenna mount with an outside the roof rack hi-lift mount. Well did at least buy the steel to do that, I just need to actually do it..... and paint my living room...... and finished the sliding linen closet door project........ and finish the last replacement window on the house....... and ........

Bandi, while looking for a reference for another thread, the same article had a handy little feature on the rack they put on the back of a truck...... a bottle opener! You need to incorporate a bottle opener into the design, that would be the coolest CB mount ever!!

Do you have a picture of the remote mount and where do plan on putting yours? How are you going to run the power. Maybe once you get the whole system installed you can post a complete install thread.
