Re: Post your iphone mounts

Mike, i have not done this yet, but i plan on it as soon as i find a good holder.
THis is my idea. Make a ~70deg angled bracket of thin metal. Use my dremel to make a slot in the grey piece on the side of the center body color panel. Then bolt the bracket and holder right there so that it faces me. I would then probably route an ipod cable through a hole i would make in the grey piece as well. Once i find a holder i will make this, it will not be hard.

Re: Post your iphone mounts

I do not have an iPhone ( I have an LG Dare) but the old mount for my iPod (it is in the glovebox now) would work I bet.
Panavice mount

It goes to the right of the stereo and is very easy to install.

Yeah, mine is going to be like that, except on the left in front of the hazard button and defrost button (but far out enough to still use those buttons.)

Re: Post your iphone mounts

Here's my solution for my 3G iPhone.

Flexped mount. It comes with multiple sizes of spacers to accommodate just about any device.

My plan is to install a 12V just above the base of the mount, power/charging supply for the iPhone, and passengers use.

This mount can be utilized on about any smooth or slightly dimpled surface, as long as it's flat and clear of oil and any other slippery substances.
