Re: Buying A Gps System

Bought the Magellan Roadmate from Costco. was 250.00 on sale for 199.00 then i had a 50.00 coupon. Great GPS for the money. Modded it above the rear view mirror. Very similar to the rear view camera option. looks factory.

Garmin -- various models over the years. Currently have the Streetpilot C550 and GPSMap60CS. Both of these have been dicontinued for newer models. Garmin has a great interface and map updates keep these current even if they are discontinued models.

Re: Buying A Gps System

I have the Garmin Nuvi 350 and love this little unit. Small enough to take with me when travelling, yet full featured and easy to use.

Garmin is better IMHO. Definitely try for something with topo or topo compatibility if you plan on wheeling!
