Man, 37 years old and I'm like a kid when it comes to getting a new FJ. I should be getting it this week (unless I change from Green to another color.)
I have a bunch of questions, and didn't know if there was an FAQ, if so please point me towards it.
That said, I'll post a bunch up here.
1. Are the front door speakers full range?, or is it a woofer with the tweeter in the dash? (I want to replace the front's, but didn't know if I need a full range door, and single tweeter dash, if so, do I need to x-over the tweeter in the dash)
2. Sounds like it's real tough to use an aftermarket head unit and keep the sub?
3. Someone mentioned to me finding an upgraded toyota head unit from another vehicle?
4. How difficult is the sirius hook-up? Where do they mount the antenna? (if I have the dealer do it..)
5. Where is the amp for the subwoofer? Is it a powered unit?
6. Can the back-up camera from toyota be integrated into a better head unit? as opposed to the RV mirror?
Sorry, ton's of questions and these are just a few... thus the question about a FAQ.
