maybe he got 3 VIP's for added safety for 1000 dollars?

my VIP = 278 installed by me

if you have the VIP you should have the button. if you don't have the button, they forgot it and you need to go back.

if it's aftermarket.....best of luck

Re: alarm

OK no luck getting to Toyota, the "alarm" is a "remote vehicle control system".
tried disconnecting the battery to reset it, no luck. pressed the reset button on the back on the little light thingy, no luck. going to Toyota asap.
it seems to only go off at night but when i am at work i don't know about the day time, but it does "chirp" every once in a while during the day. caught it today when i was walking out for my break. i think MissFJ is right , shes an attention whore. lol Lee
Would a lift kit do anything to set it off ????

Re: alarm

So whatever happened w/ the button? I would demand one if it was VIP.

Re: alarm

WE do alarms all the time, and it sounds like the motion sensor needs to be adjusted. If you want you can do it yourself, the sensor is usually under the steering wheel is going to have a red or green ligth by hitting the steering wheel you will be able to see it,one you see the little light you will need a small flat head to adjust. i hope this helps.
