alarm

why would the alarm go off for no reason and how do i fix it fast before the nieghbors start throwing rocks at my FJ ????

leave the windows down?

if not...just hit the little button in the center console that switches the radar off before you exit the truck. that'll ensure that it won't go off

no, if u have the fancy *aftermarket* toyota alarm, there is a proximity sensor button on your center console you can turn off i believe.

I'm not being a jerk at all......but search for "mystery button" for both amusement and education (it's the button w/ the waves coming from the ceiling)

I dont have that button, I have the one next to it for the back up sensor. for now i will turn the inside lights off and leave the door ajar and mess with it in the morning. No sense in keeping the nieghbors up tonight.

A pissed off one, no really it came with the fj and cost $1000.00. will look in the morning to see what it is. i want to say it's the VIP one but not sure.
