never had it on AM...too much other stuff to listen to anyway...sorry, can't help you but I don't think I've seen anyone else mention it, yet.

The FM & AM in mine stinks...get static on both bands...after going to three dealerships and calling Toyota Customer Service I'm still getting the run around...no one is willing to fix the problem b/c they claim they can't duplicate it...that's BS b/c I took the service manager for a ride at the last dealership visit and the radio had static the whole time...still no acceptable response from Toyota...I'm going to buy an aftermarket radio and have a local shop install same...just tick me off that you pay $28K for a new vehicle and the stinking "premium" sound systems does not work right.
