Question Curious Electrical Plugs...

Im noticing alot of "plugged" electrical connectors throughout the new FJ, and wanted to get your guys' ideas as to what these two are?

Re: Curious Electrical Plugs...

the one in the picture on top at the wheel well is where your sub power and input signal are located. The stock sub plugs in along with the amp that is in the sub. The other is unknown to me.

Re: Curious Electrical Plugs...

Is there a wiring harness ready to go at the inverter location? That's actually what I thought the top photo was.

That's what I was wondering...inverter? Both make perfect sense though.

Re: Curious Electrical Plugs...

Don't know for sure. Haven't checked because I have not needed. It would not surprise me since I have found so much other wiring available. I'm sure that someone will be in to let you know.

Re: Curious Electrical Plugs...

The one under the hood is the aux lamps connector connected to the relay in the fuse box under the hood run through a fuse and to the connector behind one of the center console switch blanks (top left to be exact).....nuff said?
