Is yours a wireless set-up? If it is, what kind of reception do you get?
Any interference?
Cya
No it is wire back though the door and stock wiring harness.

I'm getting lost. Which cameras are wireless and which ones are wired up?
I guess I'll have to do some research so that I know what the hell I'm talking about.
Cya
Mine was wired. The lic. plate kind are wired. I haven't seen any wireless.

The better wireless ones are over $300. The cheaper wireless I hear are a little "iffy". There is a ventor on this site that sells better ones (used for bigger trailers) that work well. Walmart has a Lic. Plate one for $100 (wires). It's not a tough job to wire it. Most places would charge around $60 to wire, if you went that way.

FJGypsy - sounds like a great price! - is it wireless? - wonder how clear of an image it shows?
Yes, it is wireless. Just attaches to license plate bracket. At just $90 I wouldn't expect it to be top quality, as others have mentioned here, but the price is not too hateful for an extra measure of safety. I would prefer to mount something from the inside, like near the top of rear window, with a fisheye lens to expand the field of vision. Plus, if it's on the inside, you don't have to worry about slush, mud, and snow covering the lens.
Actually, I just remembered, you can get Toyota's back up camera for the Landcruiser and Sequoia. Probably a little pricey coming from the dealer but may be reasonably priced coming from a junkyard. Just a thought!
