Re: Terk XM Direct for FJammer

The XMFanstore shows a number of XMDTLK. Am I looking at the wrong unit? Shows $99. Were you able to mount behind the FJammer? Did the kit include everything?

Thats the one. It comes with everything you need, antenna also. Mounts perfectly behind the FJammer. I placed it behind one of the wire looms. No rattles or anything. I ran the antenna as per the factory XM instructions. Took longer to run the antenna than to take the molding off around the FJammer.

It does not, but I found instuctions here on the forum. Its not really that hard, takes maybe 5 minutes to get to the head unit.

Re: Terk XM Direct for FJammer

Unfortunately you do not get any scrolling. Its a 10 letter text display. You can get 4 different displays.. 1) Channel Number 2)XM channel name 3)Artist 4)Song name. You can change which display you want by pushing the text button.

I just installed the Terk XM Direct for the FJammer. Works with the SAT button on the FJammer, and steering wheel controls too. Took about 30 minutes to install. Costs much less than what the dealer is asking for. Sounds great also. The Terk model number for the FJ Cruiser is XMDTLK. Enjoy!
What month was your FJ built? Was it an early or relatively late build? I'm trying to figure out if the Terk plays nice with FJammers of June builds like mine.

Thanks,
